Using a cold facial roller along your temples

Tip from @brainfogdaily_lr on Lemon8. · Read the original post

@brainfogdaily_lr found comfort during an attack by gliding a silicone skincare ice roller along their temples, treating the sensation like a calming facial routine. The combination of cold temperature and gentle rolling pressure helps soothe temporal tension. If you do not have an ice roller, you can achieve a similar effect with a chilled spoon or a cloth-wrapped ice cube, or simply use cool fingertips.

What you'll need

You only need one of these — not all of them.

The original tip uses

Silicone ice roller

or

Chilled spoon

Ice cube wrapped in a thin cloth

Cool fingertips — no tool needed

Good to know

Chill the roller in the fridge rather than the freezer — freezing cold on the temples can set off sharp cold pain. Roll with feather-light pressure, and if your temples are tender to touch during an attack, hover just above the skin or stop.
