Let alcohol dry before an injection to reduce stinging
Tip from @chronicaccounts on TikTok. · Read the original post
@chronicaccounts found that allowing rubbing alcohol to dry completely on their skin before an injection helped eliminate the sharp, burning sensation. If an injection is given while the skin is still wet, the needle can pull wet alcohol under the surface, causing extra discomfort. Waiting a brief moment for the alcohol to fully evaporate made their regular injections much easier to handle.
